Welcome to SuperMuse. SuperMuse (“we”, “us”) provides the SuperMuse app and supermuse.app. These terms describe your rights and responsibilities when using our services. Contact us at [email protected].
By signing in, you accept these terms and acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy. Both documents are available before sign-in. If you do not agree, do not sign in or use services requiring acceptance. Optional permissions and processing requiring separate consent are requested separately.
1. Services and eligibility
SuperMuse helps you capture ideas, read material, organize Notes, collaborate with AI and create editable works. Features, regions, models, allowances and device requirements depend on the version and purchase information actually offered.
You must be legally able to accept these terms. Minors should use the service with guardian guidance and legally required consent. Follow applicable law and the requirements of services you connect.
2. Accounts and security
You may create or access an account using supported Sign in with Apple. Provide accurate necessary information, protect your Apple Account, device and API keys, and report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for actions you authorize. We do not ask for your Apple Account password.
iCloud content is associated with the Apple Account you use. Your app account, iCloud account and external AI accounts are separate service identities; consider content ownership when switching accounts.
3. Your content and intellectual property
You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your Notes, recordings, photos, documents and works. Using SuperMuse does not transfer ownership of that content to us.
You grant us limited permission only as necessary to provide your selected features: for example, storing, syncing, processing, converting formats and sending necessary content to selected services at your direction. This does not grant permission to display private content publicly, use it for advertising or train our models on it. Section 4 and the Privacy Policy explain AI processing.
You must have the rights needed to import, record, process and share material, and respect others’ privacy, copyright, likeness and other rights. Importing books, articles or third-party assets does not give you additional redistribution rights. Check sources and permissions before publishing.
Rights in SuperMuse software, branding, interfaces and materials belonging to us or our licensors remain with their owners. Do not copy, resell or impersonate them without permission, except as allowed by law.
4. AI and third-party services
SuperMuse AI commits to zero data retention (ZDR) for AI request inputs and outputs. Content is processed only for the current inference, is not persistently retained by the inference service or its model processors, is not logged as content and is not used for training. Notes, conversations, works and iCloud copies you choose to save, and necessary account, billing and operational metadata without content, are managed separately. See the Privacy Policy.
When you bring your own API key (BYOK), requests go directly to your configured AI provider or custom endpoint. Its terms, charges, limits, privacy and retention rules apply. SuperMuse’s ZDR commitment does not cover that third party. Custom proxies or aggregators may forward requests to upstream models. You are responsible for selecting trusted endpoints and checking account permissions and charges.
AI results can be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive or biased; originality, exclusivity and freedom from third-party claims are not guaranteed. Review results before relying on, publishing or dispatching them. AI output is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial or other professional judgment. Tasks sent to external Agents also follow the execution service’s rules and should be dispatched only after reviewing the task and its consequences.
Apple, subscription services, external websites, RSS sources, map services and other providers you configure are responsible for their respective services. We do not control their content, availability or terms, while remaining responsible for our own obligations under applicable law.
5. Subscriptions, fees and cancellation
Prices, billing periods, allowances, trials and renewal arrangements are shown in the App Store and purchase confirmation. Apple processes purchases. Where an auto-renewing subscription is offered, it renews on the stated cycle unless canceled in time under the purchase information and Apple’s requirements.
Use your Apple Account’s subscription controls to view, change or cancel a subscription, and the app’s restore-purchases feature to restore eligible entitlements. Cancellation generally stops future renewal rather than immediately refunding fees already paid. Refunds follow Apple’s process and applicable law; see Apple’s refund guidance.
Signing out, uninstalling or deleting a SuperMuse account does not automatically cancel a subscription. BYOK provider charges and other third-party fees are separate from a SuperMuse subscription unless the purchase information expressly states otherwise.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful conduct, fraud, infringement, harassment, malicious attacks or unauthorized access. Do not maliciously evade allowances, disrupt systems, steal credentials or interfere with other users. These terms do not improperly restrict security research or interoperability rights allowed by law.
We may proportionately restrict features or suspend an account when necessary to address violations or security risks. Where legally allowed and consistent with security needs, we will explain the reason and an available appeal process. Contact us to dispute a restriction.
7. Content, changes and ending use
Regularly export or back up important material. Before deletion, consider revision history, trash, iCloud and other copies. Sync depends on networks, storage, system services and account status; all devices may not reflect the same state at every moment.
You may stop using the service at any time. You can delete your account in the app from Home avatar → Personal & Settings → Delete Account after confirming your identity with Apple. If you cannot access the in-app control, contact [email protected]. Deletion scope, legally required retention and third-party copies are described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update features, perform maintenance or discontinue parts of the service. For material changes affecting paid entitlements or access to saved content, we will give advance notice where reasonably practicable and provide appropriate export or transition arrangements. Purchased entitlements and legally required refunds or remedies will not be improperly removed.
8. Responsibility and consumer rights
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, immediate correction of every error or AI output suitable for every purpose. Verify and back up material according to its importance.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, each party is responsible for breaches or conduct attributable to it. These terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including legally applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or gross negligence. They do not restrict your mandatory consumer, data protection or remedy rights.
9. Updates and disputes
Updated terms carry a date on this page. We will notify you through the app or another appropriate channel of material changes to your rights or obligations and obtain renewed acceptance where required. If you disagree, you may stop using the relevant service and contact us about existing entitlements.
Please first contact [email protected] about a dispute so we can try to resolve it reasonably. Applicable law and competent courts are determined by law; these terms do not remove mandatory protections or remedies available where you live. An unenforceable provision does not invalidate other independently enforceable provisions.
